Jeremy Welsh has worked within video/new media since the late 1970's. Since 2000 he has collaborated widely with contemporary musicians in Norway and the UK. In recent years he has also shown several exhibitions based on collage, digital print and screen print. He has an ongoing interest in trans-disciplinary practices and inter disciplinary collaborations. He has also curated exhibitions and festivals and has published numerous texts on video art and related subjects.

Former professor of fine art at Kunsthøgskolen i Bergen and Trondheim Academy of Fine Art, NTNU. Exhibiting internationally since 1980. Educated at Trent Polytechnic, Nottingham and Goldsmiths College, London. Living and working in Norway since 1990. Public commissions including Halden Fengsel (2009) and St. Olavs Hospital Trondheim (2014). Public collections including The National Museum, Trondheim Kunstmuseum, Telenor, MacQuarie University, Sydney. Most recent projects include participation in "Poetics of Space" an artistic research project at the Dept.of Music, NTNU, an exhibition at Kabuso, Øystese, exhibitions at Kunstgarasjen, Bergen, Trykkeriet, Bergen and Surnadal Billag, Møre og Romsdal, and a music/theatre project at Rosendal Teater, Trondheim.
