Artist statement

I have a love for colour and unrelenting interest in the intersection of the pictorial way of looking or thinking, with a physical matter of the body and the materiality of things in a space. I am interested in how we experience and construct a sensory experience.

I often create site-responsive installations for the audience and myself too, that probes, provoke and simply raise awareness of this contingent universe we find ourselves in. I have a research-based, investigative practice and work within photography, text, video, sculpture and installation. Storytelling, in visual and linguistic form, is central to my work.
