Artist statement

-- Åpent atelier søn 22. sept 2024, kl 12-17--

In my work I use photography, (site specific) installation, silkscreen printing, collage, paper-maché sculptures and posters. My works are not separate works but are part of an ongoing process. In my work I try to make the making process visible and to reflect on it. For example, in the work Studiowork I have moved my practice nomadically through the studios of other artists. The work changed over time in relation to new surroundings. Using the space where the artwork is made as a generative force. I have an interest in how the artwork is formed in relation to the place where it is made , often choosing materials that I find in my direct surroundings.
